Wikiferry (wikiferry.com) is operated from Greece. This page explains what data is processed when you use the site. Short version: we collect as little as possible, we sell nothing, and the only cookies come from the booking search, not from us.

What we collect

Analytics: we use Koko Analytics, a privacy-friendly counter that runs on our own server, uses no cookies, and stores no personal data — only anonymous, aggregated counts of visits and pageviews. No data is transmitted to third parties, and we cannot identify individual visitors.

Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, retained for a limited period.

Third-party services

Ferry booking search (Direct Ferries): the search widget on this site is provided by Direct Ferries Ltd and loads from their servers. When you use it, or click through to complete a booking, Direct Ferries processes your data and may set cookies, including one that attributes your booking to this site for commission purposes. See the Direct Ferries privacy policy.

Hotel links (Booking.com): the “Find a hotel” link leads to Booking.com; once there, their privacy policy applies.

Fonts and images: fonts load from Google Fonts; photographs are served from our own server (sourced from Unsplash under the Unsplash license, with photographer credits on the relevant pages).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure regarding personal data. Since Wikiferry itself stores no personal data about visitors, such requests will usually concern Direct Ferries or Booking.com as independent data controllers for any booking you made.
