About Wikiferry

Wikiferry is an independent guide to Greek island ferry travel, built in Greece by someone who has spent years around Piraeus and its paperwork, its gates, and its 7am departures.

The idea is simple: most ferry websites want to sell you a ticket. Wikiferry wants to answer the questions that come before the ticket — which boat, which port, which gate, conventional or high-speed, what happens when the meltemi blows — and then let you book through the live search on our pages, with prices that come straight from the booking system.

How we make money

Transparency matters here. When you book a ferry through the search widget on this site, or a hotel through our Booking.com link, we earn a small commission from the booking platform — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same as booking directly. That commission is the site’s only income, and it doesn’t influence what we write: our operator comparisons say honest things about every company, because our commission is the same whichever boat you choose.
